عيسى بولص والتخت الشرقي
يقوم هذا التخت الموسيقي بأداء مقطوعات معاصرة ترتكز في تشكيلها وتطبيقها على المقام الموسيقي المتداول في منطقة الحوض الشرقي للبحر الأبيض المتوسط. المقطوعات من تلحين عيسى بولص ومن تطبيق التخت كما هو متداول تقليديًا. المقطوعات التي تم اختيارها لهذا العرض لها الكثير من التنوع المقامي والإيقاعي ويتخللها تقاسيم وإرتجالات. التخت يتألف من إبراهيم عطاري، قانون، ويوسف زايد، إيقاع، ومحمد نجم، كلارينيت وناي، عيسى بولص، عود، وموسيقي ضيف على آلة كمان.

Issa Boulos and the Middle East Music Ensemble

The Middle Eastern Music Ensemble performs original modern music that relies in its composition and performances on the “maqam” employed throughout the eastern Mediterranean basin. The music is composed by Issa Boulos and is performed by the ensemble in the traditional fashion.

The compositions chosen for this show cover a wide range of “maqamat” and percussion, and include “taqaseem” and “irtihalat”. The ensemble is made up of Ibrahim Atari on the “Qanun”; Yusef Zayed on percussion; Mohammad Najem on the Clarinet and Nay; Issa Boulos on the “`ud”; and a guest violinist.
